Jesus in the Feast of Trumpets

 (1 Thessalonians 4:14-18)

For we believe that Jesus died and rose again, and so we believe that God will bring with Jesus those who have fallen asleep in him. According to the Lord’s word, we tell you that we who are still alive, who are left until the coming of the Lord, will certainly not precede those who have fallen asleep. For the Lord himself will come down from heaven, with a loud command, with the voice of the archangel and with the shofar call of God, and the dead in Messiah will rise first. After that, we who are still alive and are left will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And so we will be with the Lord forever. Therefore encourage one another with these words.

  On Oct 7, 2023 Hamas attacked Israel. Soon thereafter Israel went after the leaders of Hamas. A Hamas leader says they did not underestimate Israel’s response. They got exactly what they were hoping for. Years ago, whenever Arab leaders met with leaders from Israel the Palestinian cause was always a major topic of conversation. Arab leaders required Israel to do something to benefit the cause of the Palestinian people. But in recent years this has not happened. Eastern Gate is a treasure

What do you treasure? (Ezekiel 43:1-2, 4) Then he led me to the gate, the gate facing east; and behold, the glory of the God of Israel was coming from the way of the east. … And the glory of the Lord entered the house by way of the gate facing east. Ezekiel tells us that the glory of God left the Temple (chapter 10), but now he speaks of another day when the glory of God will return to the Temple. When this happens, the glory of God will enter through the Eastern Gate. I read that the Eastern Gate provided the most direct access to enter the Jerusalem Temple. In the past, Jewish people would pray near this gate so they could be as close as possible to the holiest site. Why is this Gate, and the Temple itself so holy?   It is set apart and distinct from all other things or places because God chose the Temple to be His earthly home. Torah is a Treasure

  I just created my latest presentation, “ Torah is a Treasure .” God’s Torah (Instructions from Genesis – Revelation) is one of the greatest treasures you’ll ever discover. Just like a chest full of gold and diamonds we need to hold on to and keep God’s Torah as something very precious. I look at tefillin, mezuzah and tzit-tzit, and share how these things (which come from the Holy Scriptures) help us to remember God’s commands so that we may live by them. In this presentation I also share some ways people express their love for God’s Torah or Instructions.
